Managing Member
Jake Smith, Managing Member of Rimrock Capital LLC, earned his bachelor's degree in Finance and Real Estate from Arizona State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Inspired by his mother’s dedication and work ethic as an educator, Jake values the importance of constant learning and growth.

His extensive work experience in real estate ranges from private equity focused on value-add multifamily, sub-institutional mobile home parks, and international specialty agriculture. Most recently Jake has worked as an Asset Manager for the largest single family rental REIT in the country.

Over his career Jake has underwritten the acquisition of millions of dollars of residential and commercial assets, managed a portfolio of thousands of build-to-rent properties across several states, and played a key role in driving strategic decisions to maximize returns to investors.
